Remodeling Community Engagement: A DIY Approach to Systems Advocacy and Social Change
Our work requires that we have community action plans and engage in systems change to both prevent domestic violence and sexual assault and improve systems for survivors. Many agencies have asked us how to engage in community engagement. This training is a community organizing training designed to move community members, help them address prevention best practices beyond school-based curricula and share practical application tools and resources for community-wide impact. This free three-day training can be attended as a single day training, two-day training pair, or all three days depending on your level of prevention knowledge, community organizing and systems work and role within your community. The training is designed to provide a primer on primary prevention, introduction to a variety of community organizing strategies, discussion and practical application sessions, and to provide a national panel to discuss lessons learned and success stories.

You may register for one day only or all three days!
