Wednesday February 21, 2018

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EST

Survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence may also be dealing with another form of victimization: human trafficking.  This webinar will help advocates for survivors of domestic and sexual violence identify survivors of human trafficking among those whom they serve and apply survivor-centered, trauma-informed practices to support trafficking survivors.

Audience: Advocates for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and anyone interested in assisting survivors.

Objectives. Through this series participants will:

1. Gain or refresh knowledge on the overlaps between human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

2. Learn strategies to identify human trafficking in survivors of sexual and domestic violence.

3. Get tips on how to employ a survivor-centered approach to supporting trafficking survivors.
